What is Letter Writing ?

Expressing your thoughts in writing is called letter writing. When a person is unable to express something orally, then he adopts the medium of correspondence and presents his feelings to the other person in a proper way. Letter writing plays a very important role in our life. In the olden times, correspondence was the only means of conveying one's point of view from one person to another. Even today correspondence plays a major role in administrative and government offices. Nowadays, e-mail has taken the place of correspondence which is very fast. It transmits information to us in a manner, but it does not mean that the role of correspondence has ended, it is still adorning its high position.

Types of Letters

There are mainly two types of letters

Informal Letter

Informal letters are personal letters, these letters are written to their relatives, relatives. Word limit does not matter in these letters.

Formal Letter

Formal letters are mainly used in government and non-government departments.

Mistakes To Avoid

Language should be polite, any kind of pride, arrogance should not be exposed by your writing.

Handwriting should, in short, focus on the main point.

sentences should not be too long.

The writing flow should remain constant.

Avoid grammar and spelling errors .

Avoid repeating the same word 2 times .

Do not attack any officer or office personally, but write a letter addressing logical and complete reasons.

Avoid unnecessary detail.

Focus on the word limit.

Avoid using difficult words .
